New to our district this year is Mr. Stauffer. Mr. Stauffer will be starting his fourth year of teaching and came to Seaman High from Salina Central.

This year, he follows Mrs. Payne’s footsteps into the theater program. He is excited to share his love for theater with anyone willing to learn. As an added bonus, he will also be closer to family being here in Topeka.

When he was in high school, Stauffer was involved in Spirit Club, German, and Theater. Stauffer’s favorite school lunch is little smokies and mac and cheese but he also enjoys weird food combinations like scrambled eggs and syrup. In his down time, he likes to listen to classic rock and spend time with his family.

Mr. Stauffer would like to encourage everyone to come talk to him about theater if they are interested and to attend tryouts for the fall play on September 11.

In his words, “It is a great day to be a Viking because of the many opportunities and lots of nice people you encounter.”
