I disagree by putting the band in the cheerleader section, because what if the drum set gets hit by a basketball: that doesn’t sound good and if you cannot find a seat there are others seats in the gymnasium. i know that it is not where your friends are, but the whole point of coming to a game is watching your fellow classmates, so i don’t think it really matters where you sit as long as your watching the game.
