Who Will Win Super Bowl LVI?

With the Super Bowl coming up on Sunday, February 13th, it leaves many fans wondering who will win Super Bowl LVI? Whether it be the Los Angeles Rams, or the Cincinnati Bengals, football fans are sure to be in for an exciting game. Many students and teachers at SHS are eager to watch the final game of the season this upcoming Sunday.

Senior, Cooper Holloway is a big fan of football himself. Though they lost their last game, Cooper had expected for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl this year. It is hard to say that their loss on Jan. 30th would upset Holloway. When asked who he would like to win the Super Bowl, his response was the Cincinnati Bengals. Cooper states that there have been both surprises and disappointments with the games so far.

My Green Bay Packers lost in the Divisional Round when we were supposed to win it all,” Holloway states when remembering their loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Jan. 24th. On the flip side, Holloway says, “The Texans winning against the Chargers in week 16,” came as a shock to him.

This football season, out of all of the players participating in the Superbowl, Cooper states that his favorite players to watch have been Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and De’Vondre Campbell. Though he is not super excited about the halftime show this year, he claims that his favorite past performer was Katy Perry during Super Bowl XLIX, in 2015. With Holloway’s prediction for the Cincinnati Bengals win this Sunday, time can only tell if they will succeed against the Los Angeles Rams, or not.

Teachers at SHS have also been getting hyped up for Super Bowl LVI. Math teacher Andrew Stueve is also a huge fan of football. Prior to the Kansas City Chiefs losing their game to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Jan. 30th, after a devastating overtime loss of 27-24, .Stueve had predicted and wanted the Chiefs  to win the Super Bowl this season.

“There have been a lot of upsets this year where top teams lost to teams that they should not have lost to,” Stueve states.

He had originally planned for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers to play against each other in the final game.

When asked about his favorite commercials from the past Super Bowl’s, he says, “I am a fan of the Doritos commercials over the last couple of years.” Stueve also states that he and his family will typically get together to all watch the Super Bowl together.

So, who do you think will win this season’s Super Bowl? Fans will have to stay tuned this Sunday to find out.
