The age-old question that everyone asks is when is it the right time to decorate for christmas? People will argue back and forth for days on figuring out when the right time to start putting up a tree and lighting the brightly colored lights outside.

Personally, I think it depends every year, because some years I have wanted to decorate before Thanksgiving or maybe not even until the very first day of December.

“The right time is right after Thanksgiving so that you give Thanksgiving some love and still have plenty of time for Christmas spirit,” said Junior Jaxson Thomas.

I would have to agree with Jaxson on this one, he has a very solid point because sometimes you need to give both holidays their own time together.

The number one crime in my book for Christmas decorating is the people and the families that let them have their Christmas tree up all year long. I have heard that some people keep up their tree but rotate their decorations to go along with the different seasons.

Usually though I like to go with decorating right before Thanksgiving because my family goes out of town and we are usually too tired to do it later. Then our other day is usually Black Friday or the day after that.

I think the main argument between the two is that you love Christmas and it outshines Thanksgiving or both holidays need their own appreciation.
