New Doughboyz Pizzeria adds a slice of fun to NOTO

Recently everybody around school has been saying that the new pizza place near NOTO called Doughboyz Pizzeria is their favorite place to get pizza now. I went down there to see if it lives up to the hype.

When I first went in, the place was empty with the exception of one table that had a big family. The first thing I noticed was how spread apart the tables were to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines. I also noticed the fun art on the back wall creating a fun environment.

I didn’t take a good glance at the menu because I was there to try the pizza. But I know they have wings and salad on their menu as well. My family and I ordered 5 pizzas and an order of breadsticks.

When we went to sit down, our table was clean and sanitized. We waited for our pizza for 25 minutes. It was hard to get the pizzas off of the pan because the slices were only half cut. Since they only gave us a pizza server, it took us about two minutes to get our pizza off the pan and onto our plate.

The pizza I had was a Hawaiian pizza, and it was delicious! The crust was the best part because it wasn’t too thick and it wasn’t too thin; it was the right amount. It also was baked perfectly golden brown. The pizza itself had the right amount of ham but I would have liked more pineapple. The cheese was a little too much for me because when I took a bite, it just kept on coming and it wouldn’t stop.

Overall I enjoyed my experience. The food was amazing and the staff were very kind.

I would recommend going to this restaurant because it is really good pizza and the art work in there is fun to see!
