A winter storm is expected to impact the area Sunday into Monday. Some uncertainty remains, but confidence continues to increase in accumulating snowfall.

There is a slight chance of snow as early as Sunday morning, but dry air may prevent precipitation from reaching the ground until the afternoon. Road conditions are likely to deteriorate by the evening hours. Occasional snow showers will continue into Sunday night, possibly lingering into Monday morning.

Total accumulations are currently forecast to range from 1 to 4 inches. Stay tuned for updates as these amounts may still change.

Regardless of how much snow falls, it will be very cold with temperatures below freezing from Sunday through at least next Tuesday.
