Today might end up being the warmest day of the entire month with highs in the upper 60s. Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. Showers are expected to develop this afternoon, which may prompt you to run your wipers during the commute home.

Winds will also be strong out of the south through tonight, gusting to near 40 mph at times. While any precipitation this afternoon should not be accompanied be lightning, a few thunderstorms are possible late tonight. Severe weather is not expected, and any lingering rain should come to an end by sunrise.

Much cooler conditions dominate the forecast tomorrow with wind chills in the 30s and 40s all day long. To go along with the colder temperatures, a few flurries are possible on Friday. Little to no accumulation is anticipated.

More tranquil weather returns just in time for the weekend with highs in the 50s under a mix of sun and clouds. A more significant storm system is possible in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for details as next week approaches.

Stay dry this afternoon!
