Big warmup just in time for the weekend

Light rain/snow possible Sunday night

A strong cold front arrives on Sunday

After a high of 68 yesterday, it felt over 50 degrees colder this morning with wind chills in the teens. Very cold temperatures will remain in place through tomorrow morning with a high in the upper 30s today followed by a low in the low to mid 20s.

Fortunately, a quick recovery is in store as highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 30s on Friday with mid to upper 60s Saturday.

Unfortunately, the warmup doesn’t last long. A strong cold front is forecast to push through the area on Sunday, brining falling temperatures as the day goes on.

There is also a slight chance of a rain/snow mix Sunday night. Minor snow accumulations cannot be ruled out at this time.

Arctic air invades for the start of next week with highs struggling to break above freezing both Monday and Tuesday.

Enjoy the great weather Saturday before the next cold blast!
