Rain should stay south on Thursday

If you thought this morning was cold, just wait until Thursday! The good news is that we look to squeeze in one very nice day before we get there. Highs tomorrow are expected to reach the upper 60s under a mostly sunny sky with much lighter winds than today.

A strong cold front arrives Wednesday night, which will result in 30s and 40s for wind chills throughout most of Thursday. Combined with overcast conditions, it is shaping up to be a gloomy day. However, any precipitation should stay in southern Kansas.

Temperatures will gradually rebound into the weekend with highs reaching the 60s by Saturday. Our next chance of rain arrives Saturday night, but should be long gone by daybreak Sunday.

Next week’s forecast could be spooky with a strong signal for below average temperatures and above average precipitation.

Enjoy the great weather tomorrow!
