After a wind chill of 35 this morning, temperatures will recover over the next few days. Highs are expected to be in the upper 50s today, near 70 tomorrow, and in the low 70s Friday. There should be plenty of sunshine all three days.

On Friday, winds will become gusty out of the south ahead of our next storm system. We should escape the daylight hours dry, but rain chances look to return shortly after sunset. Any lingering showers should move east into Missouri by daybreak Saturday morning.

The first half of the weekend should be nice with returning sunshine and lighter winds and highs near 70. Winds look to increase again on Sunday before showers and thunderstorms develop during the afternoon.

Monday is forecast to be drier and cooler with mostly cloudy skies and highs around 60.
