The soccer team shows support for cancer awareness wearing pink shirts prior to the game.

The Viking soccer team had a strong start to their season with a 6-2 record. The Vikings beat major teams such as Manhattan and Shawnee Heights. 

Midfielder, Kilyn Broxterman has been pleased with the teams season so far, “We have gotten some key wins and had great success as a team.”

Headed into their Breast Cancer Awareness game against rival Hayden they were focused and ready to compete.  

“Our mindset on the game for Tuesday is to continue to get better and work as a team, and come out with that win” states Broxterman.

The team’s defense was on top of their game, not giving them a single goal. Defeating Hayden 4-0 the Vikings earned another win, improving their overall record. 

The team was ecstatic, and senior, Nathan Bertrand said,  “We really worked together well in order to beat
