Chance Quentin Stiffler

Chance Quentin Stiffler was born on January 29, 2003 to parents Quentin Stiffler and Nichole Cooney-Dowding. He died on April 20, 2019.

Chance loved being outdoors, taking time to be with friends, football, and basketball. Family remembers his ability to carry on conversations with anybody as well as his leadership. Attending both Jefferson West and Seaman, Chance will be remembered by both schools.

Chance is survived by parents Nichole and Jackie Dowding and Quentin and Kristi Stiffler; sisters Taylor Dowding and Tristyn Dowding; brothers Tyler Dowding and Camdon Stiffler; grandparents Michael Cooney and Stephanie Colbert, Jason and Renee Phillips, Dale and Kathy Stiffler, and Phillip and Debbie Dowding; aunts and uncles Ellen and Matt Phillips, Tara and Brad Haines, Kayla and Craig Stewart, Trenton and Megan Phillips, Dayton and Cassidy Cooney, Zach Stiffler, and Nick and Caroline Marcotte; great grandparents Dan and Patsy Lucy, Ron and Vonnie Klingbeil, Ruth and Harlan May, Jack and Melba Furnance, and Dan and Elsie Dalrymple; cousins Elizabeth, Peyton, Arabella, Aria, Joshua, Phillip, Carson, Evan, Bennett, Angelina, Siera, and Lila; along with many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were held at the Jefferson Assembly of God Church in Meriden at 10 a.m. on April 30, with visitation the night before.

Close friends at school created a memorial in his parking space in the parking lot of Seaman High School. The spaces was initialed by friends and family as well as covered with flowers and items that Chance loved.
