Connor Bryant(10)- “The next president needs to get the laws for or against human rights figured out, and he/she needs to work on health care and college spending. There’s no need for the amount of debt and student loans in the US.”

Mary Morrison(10)- “The first thing the president should do is try to get both parties to focus on domestic issues. We need to stop worrying about other countries and fix ourselves. No, that doesn’t mean let other nations get bombed. It means we can’t solve other people’s issues until we solve our own.”
Scott Schultz(10)- “Establish a wall at the southern border of our great nation.”
Emma Poort(9)- “Increase military funding in order to defeat ISIS.”
Cole King(10)- “Ensure protections for religious organizations and reform immigration policies.”
Lauren Mills(11)- “To help people get more jobs and most the economy.”
Austin Kruse(10)- “The next president of the United States needs to fix the corrupt judicial system that disproportionally targets African-Americans by installing body cameras on every police officer, and uphold the law when convicting police officers. However, after this past year’s campaign cycle, maybe the first issue should be how to bring the people of this nation back together on common ground.”
Mr. Rick Rineberg- “I think the most intriguing thing that is going to happen after the election is what will happen to the republican party. Are they going to change, dissolve, let Senator Cruz or Mr. Trump lead them off into the sunset…? As far as the biggest policy issue that needs to be dealt with, I would say it is health care. I think the steps taken by the affordable care act are great, but the fact that premiums keep increasing is alarming. A single person with a full-time job may have to spend more than 10 percent of their paycheck to get insurance and people with families may have to spend upwards of $1000 a month for something that they rarely use is to me a broken system.”
Mr. Travis Brown- The issue(s) that are on the minds of many Americans on the eve of the 2016 election that will have to be addressed by the new President are: whether or not to increase security on the Southern border of the United States (build a wall, open the borders, or status quo), the Affordable Care Act “Obamacare” (repeal, replace, or leave it as is), and the racial issues in our country (police killings, Black Lives Matter movement, athlete civil protests, wage gaps, etc.)
